How it works

Getting a pin, and catching bots

  1. 1

    First tables

The first pin holders join through a trusted organization, a table night or a private ID check.

  2. 2

    One vouch

Everyone else is vouched for by a pin holder, in person or live.

  3. 3

    Your pin

It stays on your device and never expires.

  4. 4

    A site asks

Your device answers with a name made for that site. Bans stick, and sites can't compare notes.

Part two

Catching bad pins

We look for signs that a pin is being used by a bot. A sign starts a review.

If a pin turns out to be bad, we also review whoever vouched for it. A person handles every appeal.
